Reforestation Office
The roles and duties :
- To develop planning for extending the reforestation areas.
- To restore and improve the forest resources through reforestation.
- To select and allocate the areas for reforestation and to develop tree
species through modern technology.
- To manage forest plantation stations, tree seed center, seed orchard
demonstration plots, biological garden, and to maintain, protect and
harvest the forest plantation.
- To survey the location and make plans for the Arbor Day in the
whole country
- To manage the forest plantation established by Arbor Day in all
provinces and cities, and to identify the Memorial Tree Gardens for
the national and international leaders to plant for souvenirs.
- To take measures for the protection of forest plantations against fires
and to promote the experiment of tree species.
- To perform other duties provided by FA leaders.
