The roles and duties :

  • To research the ecology, wildlife distribution, habitats and wildlife diseases.
  • To develop technical guidelines on transportation, maintenance and habitat change of wildlife.
  • To study on conflict resolution between wildlife and human.
  • To manage and promote the eco-tourism development, and to control wildlife hunting and trade.
  • To restore the situation and biological ability of wildlife.
  • To develop wildlife and habitat conservation plan and to manage the protected forests.
  • To control and monitor the implementation of wildlife sector at local levels in order to ensure the effective management and conservation of wildlife.
  • To strengthen and extend the international cooperation in order to support the implementation of international conventions, especially CITES and Biological Diversity Conventions.
  • To perform other duties provided by FA leaders.
