Wildlife Protection Office
The roles and duties :
- To research the ecology, wildlife distribution, habitats and wildlife
diseases.
- To develop technical guidelines on transportation, maintenance and
habitat change of wildlife.
- To study on conflict resolution between wildlife and human.
- To manage and promote the eco-tourism development, and to control
wildlife hunting and trade.
- To restore the situation and biological ability of wildlife.
- To develop wildlife and habitat conservation plan and to manage the protected forests.
- To control and monitor the implementation of wildlife sector at local
levels in order to ensure the effective management and conservation
of wildlife.
- To strengthen and extend the international cooperation in order to
support the implementation of international conventions, especially
CITES and Biological Diversity Conventions.
- To perform other duties provided by FA leaders.
